Learn search engine marketing in Zurich

IAB seminar on search engine marketingSearch engine marketing is without doubt one of the key disciplines of digital marketing. Its two components, search engine advertising (SEA) and search engine optimisation (SEO), play a decisive role in success or failure in online business. Hardly any other tool works as effectively and efficiently as SEA when it comes to conversion goals and revenue growth. Individual campaign parameters, such as cost per click, can be adjusted quickly and flexibly to changing conditions. SEO is essential for getting your offers into the top positions of the organic search results on Google and the like. Just how much this matters is summed up by the old joke that there is no better hiding place than page 2 of Google’s search results.

In short: search engine marketing pays off.

Fortunately, search engine marketing can be learned. And now there is a good opportunity to do exactly that at the IAB Academy. Under the IAB Academy umbrella, the IAB Switzerland Association offers professional training courses. New to the programme is an intensive seminar on search engine marketing. It is aimed in particular at marketing managers from all industries, business owners with their own website and advertising agency staff who want to deepen their search engine marketing know-how.

In 2015, the IAB Academy is running two courses at the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich. Each course runs for a total of 4 days spread over 2 weeks. The first course starts on 11 June, the second on 29 October. Each course consists of two modules, each ending with a final exam. Participants who pass the exams receive an IAB certificate.

The experts leading the classes include Martin Caduff, who works in the Zurich adisfaction team as a client consultant specialising in search engine marketing. He teaches the SEA module.

If you are interested, you will find more details about the seminar and the registration link on the IAB website.

We look forward to seeing lots of participants!
